LEAP: Understanding and Responding to Anti-Jewish Ideas: Analysis and Strategy — Briefing on the Current Situation
with Project Shema

We have heard from you about one of the major struggles you’re facing both within your organization and beyond. CJP is partnering with Project Shema, a training and support organization founded by Jewish leaders with deep ties in social justice movements, to help our Jewish community and allies understand and address contemporary antisemitism. In this virtual session we will explore and analyze the unique ways anti-Jewish ideas can emerge in discourse around Israel and Palestine and gain resources and strategies to address the anti-Jewish language we are seeing. Participants will receive an extensive resource guide with actionable next steps, messaging guidance, and there will be significant time for Q&A. We will not be recording this session, so we urge you to attend!
CJP Solidarity Missions to Israel: RFP process for partner organizations
CJP is here to assist our partner organizations in planning solidarity trips to Israel by providing per-person subsidies and serving as liaisons during the trip planning process. Mental health support for your staff through JF&CS
In this time of crisis, Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JF&CS) is offering their deep expertise in mental health and trauma-informed care as well as cultural sensitivity to the needs of the Jewish community and CJP’s partner organizations. JF&CS also provides support for community organizations, drop-in support groups for community members, and Mental Health Connect, which provides free, confidential information and referrals.
CJP is seeking feedback to inform our 2025 Jewish community study! Partner organizations, please share this link with your constituents to help CJP plan and design the 2025 Greater Boston Jewish Community Study. We will also be holding input sessions over the next few months with partner organizations to ensure the study provides actionable data and insights. Be on the lookout for an invitation later this month with details about how to register for one of these sessions.
The recent increase in antisemitic and anti-Zionist incidents has been deeply alarming, particularly as it has impacted our Jewish students on college campuses. In response, CJP is ramping up its communal security resources for Jewish institutions and college campuses. We also have a collection of resources for our community to use and implement immediately. Please share broadly.
CJP has an Israel Emergency Fund to support victims of terror and address the unprecedented levels of trauma caused by these horrific attacks. Visit our webpage to view transparent information about the grants from our fund, which we encourage you to explore and share with your constituents. We also continue to update our resource page related to the war.

Lehrhaus is offering their study free of charge to CJP partner organizations and communities looking to gather and spend time together in a relaxed informal setting.
