Explore CJP’s Dewey Stone Kadimah Leadership Program

Kadimah, the Hebrew for “forward,” prepares the next generation of leaders in the Greater Boston Jewish community.

Shaping Jewish Leadership in Greater Boston

The Dewey Stone Kadimah Leadership Program is a yearlong experience shaping the future of Greater Boston’s Jewish community. Each cohort brings together 16–18 young adults in their 20s and 30s for 10 sessions focused on leadership, philanthropy, and meaningful community impact.

Participants gain access to a powerful network of CJP volunteers, philanthropists, and professionals; building the relationships and perspective needed to step into leadership roles.

An enduring legacy

A visionary builder of modern Jewish life

Dewey David Stone was a visionary builder of modern Jewish life. Working behind the scenes, he helped establish the State of Israel and provided critical resources for developing the Israel Defense Forces. He championed Jewish education in the U.S. and created the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, laying the foundation for Israel’s scientific prominence. Today, his family, the Teplows, honor his legacy by generously endowing the Kadimah Leadership Program, ensuring that his commitment to building Jewish leaders and institutions lives on.

What past participants are saying

"Whether it’s connecting with other young Jewish leaders, learning about CJP and how it operates, or exploring the many ways you can leverage your skills and experience to make an impact, Kadimah has something for everyone. Not only did I learn the inner workings of CJP, but I also became a more effective leader and storyteller."
