Announcing: Jewish Assistance Network (JAssist)
Leading the charge in bringing Jewish social services into the digital age, Yad Chessed, with support from CJP and other Anti-Poverty Initiative partners, recently introduced the Jewish Assistance Network (JAssist). This new, virtual platform allows users to easily (and anonymously) search for a wide range of services by zip code — from mental health care to legal advice to kosher food pantries. We hope this makes it easier for more people to access the services they need and connect with the right resources. You can refer people to JAssist’s webpage to help them find out about the resources available to them. For those who prefer to speak with someone, you can still refer them to the CJP Warmline at 1-800-257-9500.
CJP's FY25 winter grant application is now open. These grants are designed to support organizations working within the Greater Boston area that received less than $10K or no funding from CJP in FY25 (not including Communal Security Initiative grants).
