Like all leaders, we love learning. We especially love when data can provide us with deeper insight into how we can best support you all. We encourage you to take a few minutes (maybe even more) to read CJP’s Third Annual Organizational Health Report.
Three things really jumped out at us when we analyzed the results from participating organizations: (1) The ecosystem, in general, is strong and many organizations have improved on key health indicators including those in Finance and Governance over the past three years; (2) We have a significant leadership pipeline issue — most organizations are concerned with identifying future board and executive leadership; and (3) Most organizations are actively working to ensure their staff and boards reflect the community they serve and seek to serve.
The opportunities that emerge from these findings are consistent with national trends and benefit from collective efforts. Are these findings consistent with what you are experiencing? We would love to hear your reflections on the report as well as ways we can continue to best support your leadership.
We would also like to give a special shout out to the first cohort of organizations participating in Shivyon: Keshet’s Leadership Equality Project. See below.
With gratitude,
