Nonprofit security grants for safer, stronger Jewish spaces

Securing your space, and your people, is essential. You don’t have to do it alone. CJP’s Communal Security Initiative (CSI) can guide you through nonprofit security grants available from the commonwealth and federal governments. We’re here to support your organization so you can feel safe and prepared.

Help for writing a nonprofit security grant application

You don’t have to navigate your organization’s security alone. CSI and CJP can help you write grants and share insider tips on how to make your application stand out.

How to prepare your nonprofit security grant application

Learn the ins and outs of the federal and commonwealth applications with grant writer Kerry Newman in CSI’s yearly Nonprofit Security Grant Program webinar.

“What you’re doing in this application is you’re building an argument. [...] You always want to make a case that builds on itself.”

Commonwealth Nonprofit Security Grant Program

Make your building safer with support from the Commonwealth Nonprofit Security Grant Program. It offers up to $100,000 to organizations that are at high risk of hate crimes and antisemitic threats. The goal is simple: help Jewish organizations protect their communities and feel more prepared and supported.

Federal Nonprofit Security Grant Program

The Federal Nonprofit Security Grant Program helps nonprofits at higher risk of terrorism or extremist threats make their spaces safer. You can receive up to $200,000 to secure one location, with the option to request more for additional sites.
