We’re coming together in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, November 14 as a united Jewish community to March for Israel. The March for Israel will be an opportunity for all Americans to come together in solidarity with the people of Israel, to demonstrate our commitment to America’s most important ally in the Middle East, to condemn the rising trend of antisemitic violence and harassment, and to demand that every hostage be immediately and safely released. The program is organized by the Jewish Federations of North America and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. 

The March for Israel will take place from 1:00–3:00 p.m. on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. We encourage participants to arrive at 10:00 a.m. as lines will be long and security checks will be thorough.

CJP community buses will depart Monday, November 13 at 9:00 a.m. from Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. Please arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. Buses will arrive in D.C. (Bethesda, MD) around 6:00 p.m. Monday evening. Buses will drop participants at two designated hotels in Bethesda, Maryland. The bus will then pick up luggage Tuesday morning from Bethesda at 8:00 a.m. from the hotel you arrived at. We anticipate buses will be able to depart RFK Stadium around 5:30 p.m. and return to Foxborough after midnight.

Free parking at Gillette Stadium is generously provided by the Kraft Family and the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism.

Every CJP bus will drop participants at the pre-arranged Bethesda hotels and pick up at the same spots in the morning. If you are not staying in Bethesda, please arrange your own local transportation to and from your overnight accommodations, and/or arrange to meet the group at the pre-determined meeting spot Tuesday morning near the National Mall. Following the March, you will board your assigned bus for the return trip.

Yes. Buses will also make one stop during the ride.

• CJP will have 1,000 hats, flags, and limited signs available for pick up starting at 8:30 a.m. at the JW Marriott located at 1331 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC in the Hart/Cannon room).

• Starting at 9:30 a.m., we will congregate at the National Museum of American History, on the Madison Drive side by the mall.

Partners can reserve a bus through CJP for a $5,000 bus fee (significantly subsidized cost). Buses must depart on Monday, November 13 and return on Tuesday, November 14. This fee includes roundtrip transportation on the bus, including tips. This fee does not include lodging. CJP will charge the partner organization and will coordinate with the partner organization directly. Organizations will recruit and register their members/constituents for their bus, select departure location, and communicate with their participants. Individuals traveling on these buses do not need to register through CJP. We encourage partner organizations to charge a participation fee to those who sign up with them directly. Partner organization groups will join the Boston group at the meeting location Tuesday morning.

Jewish Federations of North America and the Conference of Presidents are the organizing partners planning the March. There will be a pre-show starting at 11:30 a.m. and the formal program will begin at 1:00 p.m. and is anticipated to end by 3:00 p.m. The program will feature speakers and music.

It is anticipated you will be walking or standing for 4–6 hours during the March. Please wear appropriate and comfortable clothing for walking and standing on grass and pavement. If you would like to request any accommodation, please note that in your registration form.

CJP will NOT provide any beverages and food. Please bring food and water with you and/or be prepared to purchase food if it’s available. Please refer to JFNA list of prohibited items. This list is updated daily. 

We cannot guarantee access to Kosher food. If you need access to Kosher food, we suggest packing non-perishable food such as granola bars, sandwiches, fruit, and other items you can travel with to sustain yourself for the day.

Backpacks will be allowed at the March, but suitcases will not be allowed. We will ensure bags can be left safely on the bus while at the March for those who arrived on CJP community buses. We suggest bringing lots of food and water with you to the March. Please refer to JFNA list of prohibited items. This list is updated daily.

The March is happening rain or shine. Please check the weather and dress appropriately.

As always, the safety and security of our community is paramount to us. Our Communal Security Initiative (CSI) team is coordinating closely with the national security teams. We anticipate high security at this event. There are huge efforts underway to do everything possible to have a safe and secure event. Every participant will need to wear a blue wristband and pass through high detection metal detectors upon entrance. Participants are encouraged to remain alert and to use the “see something, say something” model while at the event itself.  Please refer to JFNA list of prohibited items. Registration is non-transferable and there are no refunds for the CJP community bus and/or charter plane. For questions regarding refunds for your hotel room, please contact the hotel directly.
