The Taj Mahal, the warm and intoxicating aroma of chai spices and open-air markets, a henna demonstration, fun travel companions... and an experience you won’t soon forget!

Our immensely popular A Journey Through the Senses virtual travel experience is back with the Pomegranate Society & Friends Virtual Mission to India!

We’ll explore Jewish India and you’ll see the impact we’re making together as philanthropists with CJP and experience the magic of travel (from the comfort of home) with your Women’s Philanthropy friends.

Together, we’ll experience India through our senses and enjoy*:

Mumbai
Seeing the Indian cities of Mumbai, Agra, Cochin, and Kolkata
POM_India_jewish
Learning about the Indian Jewish community and how your support is making a difference with the help of our partners, The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC)
POM_India_textiles
Viewing the creation of traditional textiles
POM_India_food
Watching a cooking demonstration from a master chef
*Itinerary is subject to change.
Join us to interact with your WP community, step outside of the everyday, and learn about our work and impact through our partners overseas.

The Pomegranate Society recognizes a woman’s gift of $1,800 or more to the CJP Annual Campaign.

Friends of POM represents a woman’s gift at the $500–$1,799 giving level. We encourage those who are at the Friends of POM level to consider making a multi-year commitment to increase your gift to CJP’s Annual Campaign over the course of the next two to three years, bringing you to the Pomegranate Society level of $1,800 or more.
