What is TanGo to Argentina?

This is a journey of leadership, learning, travel, connection, and community building. Through diverse experiences, you’ll feel a deep connection to community and to one another, sparking a passion for involvement, leadership, and learning.

What are the trip dates?
The trip dates are Sunday, August 31–Monday, September 8, 2025.
What is the cost of the trip?
  • The full cost of the trip is $4,500 per person, based on double occupancy, and a minimum of 10 participants, but thanks to generous donors, CJP is excited to offer a limited number of subsidies bringing the cost down to $2,699 per person, based on double occupancy. If you are able to pay the full fare, you enable someone else to receive a subsidy and travel with us. If you can, please consider traveling at the full fare.

  • Costs may vary based on final number of participants.

  • If you choose to be in a single hotel room, the additional fee will be $525.

Please note that participants who choose a single room are NOT eligible for a subsidy.
Does the cost of the trip include a contribution to CJP?

This trip is open to all young adults, and there is a $500 minimum gift to the CJP 2026 Annual Campaign required that may be pledged and paid for after the trip.

Gifts can be paid by Thursday, December 31, 2026.

What does the cost include?

Deluxe accommodations in Buenos Aires, a daily breakfast, government-licensed, English-speaking tour guide, air-conditioned bus, all programs, activities, and entrance fees, on-site field coordinator, most meals, as well as tips and gratuities.

What is not included in the cost of the trip?

Flights to and from Buenos Aires, some meals, souvenirs, room service, gifts, or any other personal items.

Is the cost of a trip tax-deductible?

No. Per IRS regulations, the cost of goods and services cannot be claimed as charitable contribution. Therefore, the cost of this mission is not tax-deductible.

Who will I be traveling with?

You will be traveling with other Boston-based young adults in their 20s and 30s to create lasting bonds and friendships.

How do I book airfare?

Participants are responsible for booking their own flights. Feel free to reach out to CJP’s trusted travel agent Dianne Doucette, dianne.doucette@atlastravel.com or (508) 488-1193.

What is the cancellation policy?
CJP reserves the right to cancel the trip for any reason. CJP will communicate any updated information in a timely manner.

Cancellations between May 1-June 30 will have a 30% cancellation penalty fee.

Cancellations between July 1-August 15 will have a 70% cancellation penalty fee.

No refund will be available after Saturday, August 16.
Will you be able to accommodate special dietary needs?

Yes. You’ll be able to indicate your dietary requests in the full registration form.

Will I have Wi-Fi access?

Yes, there will be Wi-Fi at the hotels.

How do I arrange pre- or post-trip plans?
