CCA Campus Resilience Grants
Overview
The past few years on campus have been marked by increased polarization and a rise in antisemitism, particularly in the wake of October 7, 2023, and its aftermath. These challenges have shifted in form, but their impact on the campus climate remains. Campus communities are striving to hold diverse populations together while upholding values of inclusivity, safety, joy, curiosity, and empathy. CJP is committed to advancing innovative and impactful efforts that push the work of education, civic dialogue, and allyship forward to strengthen the long-term resiliency and vibrancy of Jewish life on campus.
CJP’s campus work
CJP’s Center for Combating Antisemitism (CCA) is focused on improving the higher education experience on Greater Boston campuses for Jewish students, faculty, and staff. Our goal is to ensure that Jewish members of campus communities feel safe, support, and empowered to fully express their identities; and do so within institutions that are effectively equipped to recognize and respond to antisemitism.
To achieve this, we:
- Partner with campus administrators and provide resources and trainings to increase understanding and action on antisemitism on campuses
- Convene and support Jewish faculty across Greater Boston to promote professional connection, shared learning, and collective leadership
- Invest in Jewish student life through both grantmaking and convening with on-campus and campus-serving organizations
CCA’s Campus Resilience Grants are one key part of this broader strategy. They are designed to seed and strengthen innovative efforts that advance the resilience and vibrancy of Jewish life on campus.

Campus Resilience Grants FAQ
What is CJP’s Center for Combating Antisemitism?
CJP’s CCA is the Greater Boston community's local hub working to make antisemitism socially and politically unacceptable. We do this by increasing understanding, education, and relationships in civic and private spaces across Greater Boston about Jewish identity and combating antisemitism. In addition to efforts targeting civic leadership across K–12 schools, college campuses, workplaces, and civic spaces in Boston for relationships and action, CCA is working to build up the “grassroots” of this movement.
Who is eligible to apply?
We welcome applications from campus-based or campus-serving organizations with a local presence or impact on Greater Boston campuses.
Applications must come from an eligible organization and not individuals or student groups. However, students, faculty, and other campus stakeholders are encouraged to be meaningfully involved in the design and implementation of the project.
What types of projects are eligible?
This is a one-time programmatic grant for efforts that strengthen the resilience and vibrancy of Jewish life for students, faculty, and staff on campus. Projects should occur during the 2025–2026 academic year, though exact timing can be flexible based on campus and organizational needs.
Projects must align with one of the following strategic focus areas:
- Dialogue and allyship
- Education and advocacy
- Pride and joy
Projects may naturally touch more than one theme, but applicants must select one primary focus area when submitting their proposals. Choose the category that best reflects your project’s central goals and intended impact.
What is the grant amount?
Grant amount depends on the selected focus area and the scope of the project:
- Dialogue and allyship and Education and advocacy (designed for semester- or year-long initiatives) may receive up to $25,000
- Pride and joy (designed for short-term initiatives or one-time high-impact events) may receive up to $15,000
Can we apply for a project we’ve done before?
Yes. Proposals to enhance or expand existing initiatives are welcome, so long as the application explains how the Campus Resilience Grant will deepen, extend, or otherwise strengthen the work during the funding period.
